Effects of gene polymorphism on blood lipids response to dietary modulation
ABSTRACT  Blood lipid regulation by modulating dietary fat intake and the dietary ratio of polyunsaturated to saturated fatty acids (P∶S) is under the influence of gene polymorphism. In this paper, the relevant literature is summarized and analyzed in order to illustrate that blood lipid response to dietary modulation will be changed due to gene polymorphism. The advances in nutrigenomics provide strategies for design of individual nutritional diet.
