Advances in the relationship between statins drugs and physical activities

ABSTRACT  Statins drugs may induce muscle-associated adverse reactions.The paper reviewed the relationship between statins and physical activities.The medication of statins has no obvious effects on cardiorespiratory function,athletic performance and exercise tolerance.However,there is no agreement so far as to its adverse effects on muscle strength.In spite of the fact that the application of statins during physical exercise may induce adverse events,it could effectively reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
