ABSTRACT  Objective: To design and develop a software system for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) prescription analysis and comment. Methods: The development approaches and functions of TCM prescription analysis and comment software system were introduced, and the main points that clinical pharmacists should focus on in prescription comment were also discussed in the paper. Results and Conclusion: With the help of the information system software, TCM clinical pharmacists should focus on the analysis of proper medication in prescription comment. The TCM prescription analysis and comment software system have improved the working efficiency of clinical pharmacists in prescription comment and opened up a new mode of TCM prescription comment based on huge data.
